Painted for my first solo exhibition, Postcards from Paradise (May 2025)
True Colours is one of my favourite paintings. Why? Because it’s me on a canvas and I loved painting every minute of it!
It’s called True Colours because when I paint I am able to express myself freely, and in a way that I sometimes hide until you really know me.
When you first meet me, I can seem a little reserved, I hold back out of caution. I can be serious and lost in my thoughts… but if you know me, I am colourful on the inside and wild, and fun and free.
This painting is an expression of myself, flying free like a bird. Naturally I chose the Australian Lorikeets to dance around the canvas, I love their energy and spirit.
There are 25 prints available. Each print has been numbered and signed by the artist and comes with a unique certificate of authenticity.
Limited Edition Giclée Print, printed onto 100% cotton rag watercolour heritage paper 310 gsm. Numbered and signed by the artist.
Finished size 35cm x 35cm (inclusive of white border)
